The short version
- I use analytics to see how many people visit and where they come from. That is it.
- I do not sell your data, run ads, or add you to any list.
- Cookie-based analytics load only if you click “Accept” on the banner. You can decline.
What I collect
This is my personal portfolio site. I use two analytics tools to understand traffic, and nothing else:
- Vercel Web Analytics (always on, cookieless). Aggregate, anonymous stats only: page views, the site that referred you, country, and device or browser type. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other sites, and cannot identify you personally.
- Google Analytics 4 (loads only after you click “Accept”). Standard analytics: which pages you view, how long you stay, the referring source, and an approximate location and device inferred from your IP address and browser. Google may set cookies to do this. If you decline, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set.
Cookies and your choices
The only non-essential cookies on this site come from Google Analytics, and only after you consent. You are always in control:
- Click “Decline” on the banner to keep it off.
- Clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings.
- Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on to opt out everywhere.
Who processes this data
Two service providers handle the data above on my behalf. I do not share it with anyone else.
